Orange energy bites

These energy bites are so good and take only a few minutes to whip up. They're raw, healthy, cute ( because don't we all like things more when they're cute?) and  have a nice fresh orangy flavor to them. I know a lot of energy bites are made with dates but those are hard to get here so I was so happy to find a recipe that uses  raisins. Now that I know that works, you can expect more energy bite recipes in the future because I have a bunch of ideas.


Ingredients:
recipe adapted from Chocolate Covered Katie

1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup almonds or any other nut
6 tbsp oats
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp orange rinds

Put everything into a food processor and blend. Roll into balls and refrigerate.
